IDEAS ON WHAT YOU CAN PUT ON A VISION BOARD
January 25, 2021

A vision board is a great way to envision what you would like your life to look like. They can be a great driving force for you to trace your path and realize your dreams. Vision boards help you to gauge how far or near you are from achieving the life you desire. Here are some things you can put on a vision board and some questions to guide you as you make your own. Remember to be as vivid as possible:
What Beautiful Experiences Do I Want To Have?
This question revolves around Adventure. Think about skiing, zip lining, yachting, camping, sky diving, going on a helicopter ride, global travel, hiking or backpacking and so much more. Adventure is very broad. Be specific with your own desired experiences. If you are making a couple’s vision board, it would be cute to have both of you detail the adventures you wish to be on together for example, a picture of a staycation if you would both like to do one!
Where Do I Want To Go?
This is for people who desire to travel. Although travel cam fall under Adventure, this section can also be a standalone. In that case, it would be great to include specific destinations. For instance, if you would like to travel to Kenya, you can have a picture of Nairobi on the vision board. Or if you would like to visit Paris, you can include a photo of the Eiffel Tower. The more specific you are the better it will feel when it comes true!
Do I Desire To Look Different?
This question is for people who wish to gain or lose weight, become more flexible, run certain races or marathons, build strength or change their eating habits. You can include pictures of people running, doing yoga poses, flexing muscles or simply a bowl of veggies. These would remind you of your desire to look and feel different.
I shared a digital vision board template with everyone on my mailing list to get them started on their own. If you would like to receive one, please subscribe here and I will send you a copy of the template to get you started!
If you have a vision board already, what other items did you include? What are some of the questions you asked yourself while making it?
